Copyright and Licensing
Nexavium Journal of Cybersecurity and Cyberdefense operates as an Open Access journal to support the broad dissemination of research in the field of cybersecurity under the following terms:
- Copyright Ownership: Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the work in all formats and media.
- Licensing: All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows others to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work, even commercially, as long as they credit the author for the original creation.
- Author Self-Archiving: Authors are encouraged to deposit the version of record (the final published PDF) in their institutional repositories or personal websites to increase the visibility of their research.
Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are permitted to share and archive their work in various forms to maximize visibility and impact. This includes:
- Sharing preprints prior to submission
- Depositing accepted manuscripts in institutional repositories
- Sharing the final published version on personal or institutional websites
Authors are encouraged to include the official publication link and DOI when sharing their work to ensure proper citation and attribution.
